I know I was late to seeing this, and yes, I was beyond pissed off because of this fact. I had seen the other two in the movie theater, and had planned to do the same with this one. Alas, bad luck stepped in and prevented it.
I watched this like a week ago, but adjusting back to college has taken me away from endless hours on the internet (a good thing for my bloodshot/myopic eyes).
This is one of those franchises where you either love or hate it. I’m a lover. The second one, especially, even got my blood boiling, something most horror movies don’t normally do.
I’m thinking I didn’t find the third installment as scary because:
1) I watched it in my home at like 2 o’clock in the afternoon with my mom who fell asleepÂ
2) I watched it on a not particularly big, not flat screen TV.
However, once again, I really loved the premise, and the story line definitely kept me interested. I just really wished I could have seen it in the theaters, or home alone/with friends in a basement in the dark.
And those little girls had a freaking nice ass room! Sure, I’d rather take my box of a space with chipped walls over being possessed, but damn! Those girls had a sweet crib.
