Damn. I really wish I had read this book. I bet it was exceptionally empowering. Great movie. The little kid, Oskar, is beyond captivating, and Thomas Horn has remarkable talent for such a young age. Major kudos to you, Tommy.
This movie doesn’t need a lengthy review. It just needs to be watched. It will have you thinking long after you leave the theater, and I do believe it has earned it’s Oscar nomination for Best Picture.
One thing I want to point out is how happy I am that the man who played the grandfather in this movie, Max von Sydow, received a nom for his role. Never spoke a single word, yet conveyed an indescribable amount of emotion. Seriously amazing acting on his part.
Oh, Sanda Bullock and Tom Hanks? We buds. Love them, too.
