Movie Review-A Midnight in Paris
You know, my initial impression of this movie was “eh. I don’t really think an Oscar nomination is in order here.”
However, after having a couple days to think about it, it was actually pretty good. I still don’t think it necessarily merits an Oscar nom, but it was definitely more then “eh.”
However, the cinematography was really superb, and whoever was...

Movie Review-Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close
Damn. I really wish I had read this book. I bet it was exceptionally empowering. Great movie. The little kid, Oskar, is beyond captivating, and Thomas Horn has remarkable talent for such a young age. Major kudos to you, Tommy.
This movie doesn’t need a lengthy review. It just needs to be watched. It will have you thinking long after you leave the...

Movie Review-The Ides of March
Let’s start this review with some brutal honestly. Ladies, gay men, straight men, animals: Please keep your eyes of the fine specimen known as Ryan Gosling. He already proposed to me, we’re blissfully happy, so proceed to back the frig off.
On my quest to see all the movies nominated for Golden Globes, this one was next on my list.
I really loved it!
It’s been pointed out...

Watching Payback makes me sad.
To think that the beginning was 13 years ago. THIRTEEN years ago. Everything was so new, who would’ve thought we’d be where we’re at now. They had chemistry since day one, and it only grew and intensified throughout the years. I miss them together so much.

Movie Review-Contagion
Let me start off by saying that the plot in Contagion is one of my worst fears. I’ve mentioned before that it’s real-life, plausible stuff that scares me, and not a monster with slimy hands that has a wolf head. Diseases fascinate me, and for awhile I thought I wanted to be an epidemiologist when I grew up, but after watching this movie, I realize that I don’t know nearly...

Movie Review-The Help
I always try and make it a point to see most of the movies that get nominated for Golden Globes and/or Oscars. I don’t always agree with the critics (I mean, come on, Bridesmaids should have won Best Comedy), but I definitely enjoy trying to decipher what all the buzz was about.
Thus leading me to finally renting The Help, after going back and forth from wanting to see it for quite...

New SVU tonight!
Pretty excited!
Don’t get me wrong, I really want Olivia to be happy, and Harry Connick Jr.’s character, David, could turn out to be a completely awesome guy…
But, I will NEVER stop missing Chris Meloni, and it’s going to be hard to watch her be with someone who’s not Elliot..
